Catering for events - the planning stages...
Most events start with a telephone conversation during which you tell us about the event, the style of menu you’d like, and details of the venue. We listen!
With the information we gained during our telephone conversation we work on menu ideas and a rough costing and send these to you via email. We can usually do this within a week..
With a passion for great food and quality service, you can expect imaginative, fresh, wholesome food, using quality ingredients sourced whenever possible from small local suppliers in West and South west London.
Next, we love to meet you face to face. Time to arrange a visit! This can be either at your home or at the venue. It’s a great opportunity for us to find out more information about the event, see the kitchen, and the location of the drinks reception and the dining area.
We’ll ask you lots of questions, such as do you have all the furniture, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc What kitchen equipment is available for our use? What drinks are you planning to serve and who will provide these? Where can we park our vehicle? Is there a potable water supply nearby? Who will let us in on the day? And plenty more!
And here’s what happens on the day of your event…
During the event we concentrate on you and your guests. Our front of house manager will be there to manage the team and ensure the smooth running of the event.
On the day of the event our team will arrive in ample time to unload the vehicles, set up the venue as required, brief the team, feed our team and be ready for service.
After the event we clear and tidy. We clean all the kitchen surfaces and cooking equipment, sweep and mop floors, take away all our equipment including our refuse and recycling. We leave your home or venue as we found it. We will leave any leftover food in labelled containers in your fridge.
The End usually goes like this…
We leave, tired but happy. We’ve done a good job for our client, guests enjoyed the food and service. This makes us so happy!
